Every offices are responsible to provide service; their work must be clean, clear and dynamic to stakeholder. To make them accountable; inspection, evaluation and visiting is necessary. Visiting is taken as the process of surveillance. After visiting, a volunteer will get mature concept about the function of private and public concerning offices. Local offices are established to facilitate citizens in the local level. But local offices in the under developed country like Nepal is corrupted which has been fatal for country’s development and prosperity. Corruption in local offices will amplify citizen’s dissatisfaction with their government. To abolish corruption we have to strengthen our self to local level and question public concerns offices about its accountability. Public accountability in every office will automatically reduce corruption and will make government more transparence. Public accountability is a major component of good governance. Good governance cannot be imagined until there is corruption in policy making and execution. Good governance can rise only in zero tolerance of corruption. We have to encourage public to participate in every development progress. So that every citizens get economic, political, social, legal justice in easy manner.

You can visit Nepalese local government & non-governmental offices and collect the information, how corrupt bureaucrats run administration in under developed countries like Nepal. Amongst the most corrupt country in South Asia, Nepalese bureaucracy has also been feeble by corruption. You as a volunteer can join us in awaring stakeholder and cautioning bureaucrats against corruption. Morality, legality, responsibility in bureaucrats will help in making corruption less society and service taker will get easy service.

Volunteer’s Responsibilities
  • Establishing Help Desk in people concerning offices, which will make direct interference on corrupt admiration.
  • To make project report accordingly, which will be reflecting the level of corruption in under developed countries.
  • To teach the lesson of virtue to the bureaucrats.
  • Point out political influence of political parties in administration.

Skill and Qualifications
  • No specific skills or qualifications are needed to join this project. However, we expect volunteers to be flexible, proactive and good team members.  You can learn to contribute more if you are interested to learn more about corruption issues of developing countries.

Date: our volunteers program are available year round. You can start your program at any day you like
Fees: anti-corruption is a nonprofit and nongovernmental program. We do not get external or internal funding to run the program. Our entire program is solely run by donation and volunteers fee. Our fee is really affordable given the opportunities, costs, and activities involve with the program Volunteers are request to pay the following fee

Faq

How can I apply for the program?
You can apply through online.
Do I need to pay registration fee to book/ apply for program?
You don’t need to pay registration fee. You will be paying all the amounts after arriving to destination.
Where do I stay?
Volunteer’s accommodation depends on location of the project. For those projects based in a province volunteer will be match with the local host family. Else, most of the project in the city is approximately 30 minutes from the volunteer’s house by local transportation.
Do I need to travel around or is it office based project?
As most of the work will be in office, there will be some work in the field.
Will I be handling the project on my own or will there be someone assisting me while working at this project?
As a Volunteer, you will be working alongside local staff; however, you may be assigned individual projects that you will complete on your own.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
Volunteers should bring their personal laptop as they can expect to utilize it for projects within their placement. Also, as you will be representing the organization, it is important to bring formal attire as well.
What can I do in free time?
You can visit to any place as your interest at the free time. There are several mountains, beautiful natural scenery and places of historical importance. You can enjoy along with Rafting, Bunge jumping, trekking and many other adventure.
What kind of clothes do I need to bring?
Climatic condition of Nepal is moderate. You can bring your regular clothes as you think is proper
What food I get?
You will get local Nepali food. You can have anything interested on your own.
